Dear visitor,
thank you for visiting the homepage of Boglár Hostel! We hope you’ll like our
introduction and photos and you’ll visit our friendly hostel open all the year
round.
You
can find our Hostel in Balatonboglár, a town at the very center
of the southern coastline of Lake Balaton, in a quiet neighborhood, at the same
time in walking distance (2 minutes) from the beach where many exciting and
popular events like for example lake cross-swimming or the grape-harvest
festival take place.
Our
main building is almost 100 years old, with a rich history, but is has completely
been refurbished and rebuilt to adapt it to its current purpose. The aim of the
reconstruction was to create a high
quality hostel where anyone can feel at home. The house can receive altogether 23 people in modern, comfortable double rooms or rooms for 3 persons and an apartment for 4 persons.
All of our rooms include a completely equipped kitchen facility,
bathroom and Wi-Fi free of charge.
Lonely guests for one night are also welcome, just like smaller and bigger
families, groups of friends and we also accommodate company events
School
anniversaries, company trainings, presentations are also welcome, we can
accommodate participants after various events.
There
is also a spacious lobby where a
rich breakfast is served on request. The house has also an almost 200m2 large high
terrace for resting or just lying on the sun. There is a huge closed and surveyed courtyard with safe
parking free of charge for our guests. For those arriving by bike we offer
covered bike storage and quick bike repair service. You can find restaurants, wine shops, the post office, a food store, pharmacy,
health care center and fishing possibility near the hostel.
